Terez Advice

Hey ive got a terez 7'2 15-30lb matched to a stradic 5000 fj and wanted to start getting into some plastics/jigs for demersals but do you think this rod would be able to handle some of the lighter style pirate jigs or would it be a bit long for this type of fishing?

Sounds like ya've got a great little combo there mate, one the Shimano boys would be proud of too! Yeah, that setup should be sweet for jigs down to about 40grams, depending on your braid diameter of course. The Terez does have a nice bit of flick in the tip ideal for fluttering lighter jigs really well. If ya get a chance to of have read the latest Western Angler, Lloyd ( twitchemup ) wrote a good speel on light gear jigging. He knows his stuff too, but yeah you'll do alright with that setup.
