I would just like to report on some great service I received.
A few weeks ago I snapped my hearty rise sylphy at quobba. It snapped just above the first guide while I was fighting a fish which was a bit of a surprise and left me a bit dissapointed. I had the rod for a couple of years but it is a heavy spinning rod that I only used on trips north a couple of times a year.
So I took what I had left into Oceanside explained what happened and they went about contacting the hearty rise rep and the rod has been replaced with a brand new sylphy series 2
I am extremely happy with the result so once again thanks Oceanside and hearty rise

+1 for broken hearty rise
+1 for broken hearty rise sylphy, not once, not twice, but three times! I will admit the first break was the fault of the user (not me). The other two occasions I'm still scratching my head about.
Both different types of incidents, had it replaced first time, but was told they couldn't source them any more, so the second replacment couldn't be done. (only needed the tip half of the 2 piece rod replaced).
No complaints at all about the store i got it from!! Just glad to see i'm not the only one who had a sylphy break on them. How ever i'm not glad that your's broke RIG, especially while hookt up to a fish.
Had been told they had been having a few issues with the blanks for some of the hearty rise rods...??
this happened last year, both times snapped were on first use from new, and first replacement. If that makes sense.
Sorry to hi-jack and spin off on a bit of a different tangent guys...

Have broken 2 Sylphys in the
Have broken 2 Sylphys in the past. Don't rate them at all. The service from the Hearty Rise rep was excellent. Replaced the second one with a Jig Force which has been excellent.

I have had my hearty rise
I have had my hearty rise sylphy four about 3 year now,got it from oceanside, never had an issue with it. It's my favorite rod, luv it, and it has pulled up some big fish in Perth & up exxy.. Rate them very high......

Ive been selling Hearty Rise products instore for the last 11 months and this is the first Sylphy I have seen returned (to my knowledge) In my time of working at Oceanside. Not to say other claims before hand havnt occured. They make awesome products and the State Rep is a top bloke and was more than willing to help you out. Ill pass on the thanks to him aswell.
Im sure this rod will produce a few more fish in the near future.
