Went for a rock fish this morning south of margs . First balloon with live herring, intended for a king, was instantly surrounded by 100 odd salmon and engulfed.Only ended up with the one,i Keep them for bait , was a solid fish good fun fight getting wrapped around a ledge and then a few jumps after freeing the line. Stayed for a few hours saw another two solid schools but no joy from mr kingfish. All you metro salmon chasers shouldn't have too long to wait

Yep got the same pic from a good mate 1st school of the season at smiths Wednesday davmor one was caught trolling for herring in bunbury last Sunday at Hungary hollow

Hard to believe they're
Hard to believe they're already on their way with some of the surface temperature readings ive been getting lately, mostly around 24 degrees and even hit 26 degrees on ffb a few weeks ago. Would like to get a few more macks on the board before they disappear
