Tip guide broken

How hard is it to change a guide on the tip of a rod?
the tip guide in one of my rods has had the alconite "fall out" of it and I was wondering how hard it would be to get a new guide, or put new alconite in the guide thats on it?
Hard to do yourself - if not how? And if it is, how much approx would it usually cost to replace a guide on the tip of a rod by a rod builder/store?

Easy As
Rickets its not hard at all but seeing as you would need to go to a tackle shop to get the guide anyway you may as well let them do it for you.
It really only takes a few minutes if they have time to do it straight away and shouldnt cost much.

Mine
I put one of my rods in the the other day for a new tip for the same sort of reason. Safe bet is to get it done at the shop, as you should just be able to heat up the glue and pull the tip off apparently. But mine was being dificult so they were going to get the small grinder out to knock it off.

Hi Ya,
Apparently a lot of the tip guides are just hot glued on. Heat it gently with a ciggy lighter to take it off and hot glue another on.
Cheers.
