Tld20 help

hi guys, I need some help with my tld. The anti reverse failed so I got a new dog and spring and replaced them but it still failed. Upon closer inspection the holder of the dog is loose. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to get a whole new side? Thanks in advance.

thats a serious type of issue, especially for a TLD. I can't imangine what has occurred for that failure to happen.
the anti reverse dog pivots on a raise round section which is made of graphite and resin, and it's like 3mm in diameter. The whole assembly lays under the main crank cog, so there is no room for screws and the like. That fix is likely to be tricky.
Give Alan Tani (alantani@yahoo.com) an email with some photos and the very best description you can provide. Alan is a leading expert on TLD reels, and he might have worked a solution to such problems in the past. He may even have a cheap second hand side plate for you to purchase. Remember the Aussi dollar is about 30% less than the U.S. dollar. So Alan's prices will be 30% higher in Aussie money. He does pay pal payments.
good luck.
ps the TLD 15 is selling for $145 at BCF
