Just had a week in Victoria
At the Annual Veteran bike rally at Ararat. Veterans are pre-1919, so some very interesting machinery being ridden. I was meant to share the riding on a 1915 Lewis, and rode 3 days for only one trailer recovery due to a broken drive belt. Day's rides were up to 126km total. Thursday morning was our undoing as the handlebars worked loose due to violent pedalling for a cold start. So the owner only actually did about 4 k's in totaL. Never ridden a veteran before, only "modern" stuff like a 1926 Model 18 Norton, so a real challenge. link is to gallery of photos for those who are interested.
