Trailer dramas

Hi All,
Got home yesterday morning and while washing down the boat, sprayed the back trailer wheel and fair bit of steam came off. I'm hesitant to drive it as the last thing I want to do is take out some innocent dude/chick with a wheel. Any ideas of any good mobile mechanics around the Singleton/Rockingham/Mandurah area?
Thanks, Shacked

Hey buddy sounds like the bearings in that wheel might be shot. Not a big job to fix yourself although it is a bit messy. You just need a new trailer bearing kit, some bearing grease and a few tools. try looking on youtube for videos on replacing trailer bearings and you can probably buy a new bearing kit at BCF.
Oh and you might as well do both wheels if your going to replace them.
Good luck

Thanks mate
Hub doesn't seem hot but, would of thought it would heat up if the bearing was knackered?

Every chance
Every chance it could have been from the disc, only really caught it after it had copped a fair spray down.

When did you have you
When did you have you bearings last serviced? IF your answer is more than 12 months it would pay to at least check the grease/adjust/repack.

Cheers Guys
She's electric over hydraulic so not a cable fault, it's dual axle and all the rest seemed ok. Still chasing an idea of any decent mobile mechanics down this way.

I have used Rob's Mobile
I have used Rob's Mobile Trailer Repairs before. based NOR but Im sure SOR wouldn't be an issue (He's mobile after all). Good bloke, well priced and does a great job.
TowSafe - These guys are apparently pretty good too. I have not used them though.

I have used TowSafe - they were good. BUT, are extremely busy and booked out weeks in advance. As others have said - I suggest you learn to do it yourself. It may take you more time and effort initially, but will be worthwhile knowledge.

If it's elec / hyd it's most
If it's elec / hyd it's most likely a pads and caliper set up. Not uncommon for the caliper slides to jam up if they haven't been inspected recently.
