Transom repair

I'm thinking about re powering my 26 carribean with a single v8 instead of the twins. I would need to get the transom re done. Has any one done this or know who would be best to do the job.

Greg at GT fibreglass did me a new transom on a 18 n half
foot voyager, good job good price a few guys on here have used him and recommended his work Gregs in kallaroo

What do you intend to replace it with? Even with a big block you'll struggle to make the horsepower of the twins. The 26 is a heavy boat and not many around with singles.

Just an idea at this stage. There is a couple over east with 6.2 litre 350hp they appear to go quite well.
