Really? Can't see the point
Really? Can't see the point of trim tabs that only have adjustment at time of fitting.

your better off with ones
your better off with ones that you can adjust to what is needed.different people want different adjustments for the trim tabs, if its a bit choppy i tend to drop the nose a bit so your cutting through not bouncing and also i adjust mine all the time depending on how your travelling with the seas behind you.i would rather be in control of how my boat handles and not rely on what someone else thinks would do the job as every boat is different

I only need to correct a list at speed to the Port side, due to the big transducer I have producing lift at the stern. So I'm looking at putting on a single unit on the Starboard to counter act the list.
I have read some real good report on these units today, from those in the USA that use them. And at $200 and less a set, they a lot cheaper than the convetional stuff.
I like the QL's but they pricey. I would need to save a few dollars.

cant you just fabricate something thats identical to the transducer set up and fit it opposite, that way the lift would be equal
cheers

i could do with a set of tabs, but with that big 1 kw transducer hanging off the back , there's not much room left.
i did notice on the before after video , when demonstrating the effects on porpoising , the boat without tabs seemed to be going a fair bit quicker.
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Thats a bit
Thats a bit misleading.
There are occasions, particularly when you have a crosswind, that tabs let you go faster and more smothly, than a boat without them.
Being able to get the nose down often lets you use more power down as well.
