slowed a bit
Hi blue,
Progress has slowed a bit. I was out there last week and not much had changed from the last time i posted photos.
Looks like they have pretty much finished the rock wall which retains the carpark and ramp on the south side (creek side). There was still only a couple of slabs in the water with the pylons in the ground.
The structure for the jetty was in the carpark waiting to go in. Hopefully i'll get out this week and have a look.
cheers
.

Unlikely
Very unlikely 2-3 weeks, unless they reeeeaally get a motor on!! Things have been pretty slow out there, but cyclones do delay things. :(

Not sure
Heard the guys are getting a rev up to get it moving, be some unhappy punters come aibt time.
Also heard one of the marine/oilngas groups are running their hydrographic surveys during gamex, few more unhappy punters.

If that's true
well f**k me , does the recreational sector not have any pull or sway at all , look at all the money that GAMEX and AIBT is gonna bring into the town , why hasn't the EGFC waded into it and asked for some input or to ask for a stay of operations , I know that we are only
fisho's but surely the shire has some input into what is going on over there....
Just one more cast , honest !!!

the old saying . "money
the old saying . "money talks and Bullshit walks". they wouldnt care who is going to be out there. all they are interested is where their next oil rig is going to go and make them heaps of money.

I think you'll find
EGFC have been trying to work something out with the sonar survey mob, hopefully for them they will suspend the survey, but like faulks has said, they probably wouldnt care, given how much they would lose per day.
