wanted: talented, but boatless people
Submitted by lazy_lee on Wed, 2011-01-05 13:08
have been finding it hard to russle up a deckie when i want to go for a fish, so i thought i would ask around here.
i have a 5m centre console, which i am slowly taking out further each time, so far around the 35m mark off rocko-woodies etc
also a little bream boat i put together for the days when its too windy on the ocean.
i have moderate to good success, so i am hoping to find some talented deckies for both options.
hopfully we can start getting stuck into a few fish, demersals on lures and finally crack consisntant bream on lures too.
also been enjoying trolling for tuna and will try for metro mackies too
no need to say chip in for fuel etc, we all know the drill
well get back to me with a resume of talents etc j/j
cheers

Recently moved over from SA and keen to go fishing
Lee I would be keen for a fish now and then. I am a keen fisherman without a boat. My dad owns my boat and he unfortunately lives on the Far West coast of SA. Have all of my own gear for the boat and also for bream from the river (lures only). Like everyone I have commitments on weekends but generally have at least 1 day free each weekend. I grew up in Ceduna and have been boat fishing from a young age, mostly for Snapper, Mulloway, King George Whiting and Shark. I have my SA boat license, soon to be converted into a WA RST and am planning on getting my RFL.
Let me know if you keen to meet up. I live in Doubleview but that should be any issue to get down to Woodies or Rocko. PM me with details. Happy to catch up for a fish in the river first if that suits.
