WARM UP YOUR ARSENAL TAILOR HUNTERS
Submitted by Colin Hay on Fri, 2010-07-30 12:08
To all you landbased anglers who like to chase big tailor and salmon - this evening should really be prime time.
For the first time in ages there is a perfect south westerly forecast to be hitting the metro area this afternoon - and the reports are that the big tailor and salmon have been on the bite.
I know I will be hitting it up as soon as I can get out of the office.

I have my gear ready to go in the back of my car.

There is a map of some top metro spots on this link.

Alex, the tailor and salmon were going for both
last night - though the people using bait were hooking a few more fish.

That is always a good idea
especially if you want to find the gutters the tailor will be sitting in.

Went for my first landbased this arvo in ages, JT got one 3kg golden trev and a big occy that will hopefully become a new pet at work. :) The lighthouse was howling but it dropped out to be a somewhat ok arvo. Have decided to wait out till tomorrow arvo to give it a crack on the westside.
Good luck this arvo fellas.
