Also, go through and check absolutely every radiator/cooling hose as often after replacing one hose or the pump, the others like to go.

sheared off bolt

Ok, you can try liberal applications of crc/wd40 and if there is enough thread sticking out possibly put two nuts onto the thread, put the first one on tight and then lock it with the second one.  Then carefully using a spanner on the first nut(the one closest to the block) try to get it out.  I have also heard of a "cold" spray which literally chills the metal down causing the threaded section to contract, hopefully enough to break it free from the block.

If this doesnt work or there isnt enough thread, you can look into either hacksawing across the end of the sheard bolt, and using a screwdriver attempt to get it out.  Also you can grind/file down both sides of the sheared section to give you something to hold with an adjustable spanner or visegrips.

If that fails then you drill out the sheared section with a  small diameter drill (maybe 1/2 the size of the threaded section) and then there is a tool called a bolt remover(maybe some other brand name) which you turn into the smaller hole and attempt to turn it out.

Here is a website with some other ideas : http://quayvipersmcc.websitetoolbox.com/post?id=1577470

Good Luck!

Always is a pain in the arse for a sheared bolt

Looks like you have plenty of remainder sticking out.  Some other things I read suggested that if it sheared the main bolt because it was rusted in, the screw extractors are useless as they will likely shear and then make it bloody difficult to drill out.  They basically said drill it out and retap the section.

Now that is a pain in the arse! Hope it doesnt come to this.
