I thought it was pretty good.

Pull your head in, everyone is entitled to an opinion but choose your words more discreetly. Without having met you I would hate to judgeyou Fathom, so I won't. You can delete posts, perhaps you might consider it. As for the show, It's great. It's West Oz so at least you can fully relate.

New to perth
I'm pretty new to perth so have found the show great for local fishing info and techniques.
Also great that the show is on YouTube, I can watch it when I have free. It would be awesome if more shows were on YouTube.

Heres a story
Was in big trouble returning from the Rowley Shoals, punching into a huge swell, lost the bimney top, both tenders were sinking, then punched out the windscreen nosediving into a wave. Lost all electrics, panic set in for some. ....."Fwit" started crying and tried to take the epirb from us as he constantly stated he was the most important person aboard, He tried to get into the tender with the epirb....a quick smack to the back of the head soon bought him into line and i soon had the coward sobbing back on deck............We made it back to Broome eventually

i saw him at a petrol station with no front teeth when we were on the way to carnarvon! he said he fell over in the boat?? it may well have been the exmouth debarcle !.. cheers

It is a good local show with a few tips now and then. I also have many I fish shows unwatched! Saying that I don't really mind watching any fishing shows at present as house bound at moment and will be for another month. Hanging for a fish!

I think Fathom would have more than a few storys. I would have to agree on the editting comment as it went down a little different to that from the folks that saw it first hand said anyhow.

But either way why do it in public with a non de plume? not right-the sort of stories above are the type that are nigh impossible to disprove and stick to a public figure but not an anonymous.

like the show but we had a runin w him in the pub here one yr. he was blind big noting n we thought we ll go ask if he wants to come dwn to a local spot off the cliffs for big pinks! we dont take anyone to this spot but we gave him a go! he laughed at us told he only goes whr he is guaranteed to catch fish n when we told him it was a steep climb but awsome spot he told us to piss off! he was asked to leave before he was carried out! you dnt talk like that to locals when they invite you to fish a spot that only a dozen guys know about!
as i said love the fishn hate the arogance!!

my bro has had dealings with
my bro has had dealings with him in the 1st series and he was not impressed with his approach or tact.....never felt good about him but gave him the benefit of the doubt with one of the products he was using
no mention of the gear he is probably/might be using in the current series, ( i stand to be corrected)......so i ask my bro whats going on....he asked for even more $$$ for the 2nd series and my brother told him no and never saw him again, lol
i told my bro about his rep and at least he seems to be keeping his end of the bargain up as allegdly exposed up north
the show....some good local content, amaturish attempts at delivering said content and has done a great job (sarcasm) at getting the boys at getaway onboard....hahaha
his show about fishing the swan river was poor, folks cracking beers in the background (at least edit it out for gods sake) and if yr reading this smarten your english and presentation for the screen..you represent wa, and not well at times.

Yep, Lee and Adventure Bound is top shelf, tryed to find a clip but unsuccessful, of when they were catchin wahoo and Lee was holdin one in his arms and it went burko, bloody funny. Those two from Hook Line and Sinker are good for a chuckle, other than that, Robinson pom fw, Worstling, Jacko, bloody Rex Hunt, that bloke hosting big fish on little boats is a dick, bloody fisherman, we're all knob heads, oh, gota love Ryans waddle as he introduces the show (FWA) at the start haha sorry mate

Never met the bloke but after watching most of the episodes he does seem pretty cocky. I'm sure it's a tougher gig than most people realize cause once you're hooked up you've only really got one shot at getting it right. The pressure to entertain with cameras pointed at you can also be a bit of a trap and lead to people saying some douchey stuff in the heat of the moment that they might not have said otherwise ie: big noting and trying to impress.
The filming and editing of the show is great and for the most part he's pretty good probably does a lot better job than most of us would but at least every second episode he has me cringing about something. Anyone catch the dampier episode where he's explaining how everyone should always crush the barbs on all there hooks even though you'll lose lots of fish when you get a hook stuck in you it'll be easier to pull out... I was thinking is he serious? how often do you get hooked mate?
Nek minute he's grabbing at a thrashing shark mackerals head bare handed with a lure hanging out its mouth swinging all over the place right next to his hand, camera cuts away and when it comes back somehow hes got the hook jammed deep in his leg - it's like no wonder mate how about instead of crushing barbs you stop and take a little care to think about what you're doing and show the viewers how to safely handle a fish so you dont get hooked in the first place!
Sometimes he's quite professional with some good advice then other times it's amatuers hour and he's really cringe worthy. For someone with so much experience he often gives the vibe of a guy with all the gear and no idea.
