Just had lunch up the shops overlooking the marina at Two Rocks,We counted 7 podes of whales all within three miles of shore ,they were breaching and playing for the full time we ate lunch. Will be taking the kids and grand daughter out for some whale watching tomorrow if the weather is good.Whale numbers have increased in the last ten years for sure.good to see.

Yeah, yesterday we would have
Yeah, yesterday we would have seen around 15 whales near Rotto. We dud see a very small calf in about 8m of water less than 2 km off trigg beach, no sign of it's mum. A bit sad, pretty sure it was lost as it came up to our boat a few times but nothing we could do.
I am at mullallo this morning and a great white just cruised past and shut the beach....... The fate of the little calf does not look good.

Gnaraloo
I was fishing 3 mile camp near Gnaraloo in early September and the whales were in plague proportions. We had a couple go under the tinny-interesting look on the sounder!!
