What kind of boat is this?? Assassin, Razorline ???

Found this 2006 custom plate hull sitting in a garage so I bought it.
a bloke named Milton rear made it down in Bunbury and I’m pretty sure he built the assassins and Razorline also.
its 7.4m LOA and 6.2m of hull. 6mm bottoms and 5mm sides was told
it was built on surveying specs
any help would be great

Roll Over Protection Structure. Normally a structure on a vehicle that can tatke the weight of the vehicle on its roof in case of rollover. this ensures the cabin doesn't collapse, protecting the people inside.

Arr yeah “roll bars”. God I hope I don’t turn this thing on it’s head haha. Just gotta do a few minor repairs to the hard top, few cracks coming up in the joining welds but nothing out of the norm and also gotta get the transom inspected to see what size /hp engine I can get in the back. Other than that it’s gonna be a cracking boat. Be good if I had more info about it. All I know it was built by the same blooms who started assassin ( Milton rear) and designed by Dave Jackman of Jackman boats before they went there own ways and started ASSASSIN and JACKMAN boats. Would of been good to have there stamp on the boat though :(

Assassin are not boat builders either, they are built by Redline I believe.
Nice boats though, yours looks pretty good.
Jackmans plans were old school on mylar and have been copied, modified, butchered by many over the years.

I read that assassin boats
I read that assassin boats originated down in Bunbury built by Milton and Ian I think In conjunction with Seaquest boats.
then I think Milton retired and his partner had another boat design from Jackman and then Razerline was formed from the split.
asasin and razerline, redline, genesis, formsa all build each other’s hulls. They must have agreements to do so with all. Kicker maybe ?

I was of the understanding
I was of the understanding that razorline came from Hampton Yachts. Hampton were building big boats and started a small side line of smaller boats as tenders and also open market.
After a while they split and razorline was born. That name has changed hands a few times over the years now though.

Missing in Action!
A bit strange its got no builders plate , I take it that would have been req before selling it to a member of
the public .
Maybe its just missing aye , can you see where it was?
And its make is normally shown on its rego paper too I think , so using that rego number , maybe transport could tell you more.
Looks like a solid hardtop as said , but that too may have been the reason for cracking , alot of wieght.
A good ali welder with marine experience should be able to help re enforce her up a bit .
With that extra mass , wack a 250 on it , and part those seas!

The hard top is pretty light.
The hard top is pretty light. Made of 2-3mm ally sheets. So it’s pretry light but been supported very well.

Hardtop Supports
Hard to tell from the pics but how is the front of the hardtop braced to the windscreen? Looks like it would allow a lot of movement as the windsceen frame is not structual. Could be the reason for all the cracking? You'd be surpised how much those welds are stressed by movement, especially in shit seas.
Once hard top tubes/braces start cracking they can be a nightmare to get on top of from my experience

Yeah the brackets come down right behind them. They are small support poles with a terrible angle on them. Going to get a couple more put in for added help

For it to have the registration number it must have a HIN
That rego is very close to my Trailcraft (BU202) which was I think either 2002 or 2004

It has a hin number but the letters for where the company would be is au-twa which is standard for custom build. Yea stand for “transport Western Australia and the hear is march 2006 of this build

Nah Greg down there was the rudest person I have ever spoke to over the phone.
He was in partners with Milton who built it but didn’t even want to give me his number and even though I have a sports marine sticker on the back. Still said he has not seen the hull ever. The gentleman I bought it off showed me the recipes for the engine they got off him and even stated that he has a record off all boats and motors they sell and told me he didn’t gave the time to check for me.

Hey maybe he was having a bad day , but I have found companys selling new cars , motorbikes etc etc tend to shrug off people
not there to line there pockets , and like you have asked a simple question only to be greeted by rudeness.
What they fail to see I think is a guy asking a quick question about a older boat or something , if treated right could be in there
buying boats or stuff in the future. Look how many tackle , boat , and marine places have shut or gone belly up in the last 5 years.
