What now?

So it seems that the chopper run is well and truly over (at Floreat at least). What's the landbased metro plan for the next 6 months? It has been a few years since I fished out of summer... but I'm going to keep at it but not really sure what to target? Or am I just missing out and tailor are a year round prospect?

Sharks
Sharks,Sharks,Sharks. They are like blowies at the moment. Get a big bait out and have some fun . Use big baits and circle hooks(no wire) , you might just nail a nice Mulloway or two .

I actually got a little shark of some sort yesterday. spotty thing, not large at all. Do I need a longer cast? Maybe this a a job for my new alvey set up (which is only a reel to date tbh).
yesterday needed a chunk of lead to hold bottom that's for sure.

shore-based snapper
Now that sounds like a good challenge. Has anyone got some tips they'd like to share? Will they come into the surf or do you need to clear the far bank?
