Transducer Well

Thu, 2010-06-17 09:14

The one with the cable looks like a thru hull transducer well. The others could be the same thing.

through hull tranny ( square

Thu, 2010-06-17 09:55

through hull tranny ( square one with cable coming out of it) and a homemade wet box ( round one)

I'd look carefully at them for leaks and how they sealed, as that can be an awfulll lot of water coming in if they let go!
blue one at the bak looks like a viewing port? can't see to well, but thats my gut feeling.

As stated

As already stated, tranny, viewing box, if you arent going to use them remove them. You dont want to be pulling the deck up later when they leak.

Sumlog

Thu, 2010-06-17 16:32

Possibly was for a sumlog, they used to be a through hull set up with a little wheel like most smaller transducers have for showing speed and distance. Could have been removed with just the housing remaining.
If you are worried about it, fill it in with fibreglass
