Just did some thinking after noticing that a few people sorta knew each other without actually knowing each other, so I decided to start this thread, because you just may never know who's behind the alias.
So, where did you grow up?
I spent 12 years living between Walpole and Denmark before moving to the city for some 'proper' schooling. ;)

Brought up in wagin down
Brought up in wagin down south and moved to moora for 4 years then to broome for 2 years, now in perth were ill stay for a while! Married with no kids because my wife spends to much money on fishing gear! LOL.

Born in Darwin, NT. Moved to Paraburdoo in the Pilbara when I was a young 'un and spent 10 years there including all my primary school. Moved to Alice Springs NT and spent 5 years there. Just moved back to the pilbara after I finished high school and I'm now located in Karratha.

Born there moved out to Perth in 1970 with my folks when I was 9, we lived in Thornlie went to Thornlie primary and Thornlie High, studied at WAIT (now Curtin Uni) left home and lived in Port Moresby PNG for a couple of years then lived in Craigie when I got back. Got married then moved to Joondalup where I have been for the past 12 years.

From South Australia first off , fished every little town , hamlet or beach all along the coast from Melb to Ceduna , then moved over here with my folks at age 16 , spent 4 months touring the norwest with my old man back in "79 from Shark bay up to exxy , fantastic way to start your life here in the west and the fishing was HOT HOT HOT back then ;) been here ever since and fish regularly ever since, Done the trip to Steep point 19 times and shark bay about 25 times as well with a boat in tow.

All went to Roleystone high, Johnny would be the youngest and closest to your age but still a fair bit older I would think. Italians the lot of them.

Born in Mount Gambier, South Australia; lived, worked and fished there for most of my life. Great snapper and Mulloway fishin from the beaches on the south east coast of SA. Got re-located to New Zealand for work for 3 years and got into heaps of free diving, than about 1.5 years ago I got re-located to Perth (again for work) and now live in Butler, and fish regularly from Mindarie.
I actually live across the road from THE GERMAN (who put me onto this great site), beer consumption has doubled since! ;-)

in sydney till i was 23....caught plenty of fish in that time with the old man...then came over here for a holiday 12 years ago and yes im still on holidays....absolutely love the lifestyle(big difference to sydney) and have to say i have experienced some of the best fishing in my life over here.....like i say to most people i moved over with 4 bags and a fishin rod...now i got 14 rods and 1 bag.....!!!

I think my oldies had sex
Born Brookton, boarding school in Perth, had many jobs after that.
Lived and worked on stations in Pilbara for a while, then found Coral Bay in 1983 (stuff chasing stupid sheep on a motor bike), worked on boats in Coral Bay, then Freo, then chased a tart to Proserpine, ended up staying 12 months working on a charter boat off Magnetic Is... then moved to Melbourne ...did 8 years there including 2 in the mountains...came back to WA... been here ever since.
