world cup

Anybody watch the cricket last night?

good on the punter for his 100 but i think he was selfish not smacking it till he got his 100. They had many wickets in hand and left the powerplay too late. Oh and Tait WTF is the selectors thinking 5 wides in one over??? Just my little rant!

oh well maybe they will learn now

only fools play a high pace seam attack on a spinners wicket! and time to clear out the deadwood and those living on old reps, time for Punter and a few others to go!

Australia really needs to look deep and good at where it's next ten years of cricket youth is??? and how they going to get them up to speed and blood them slowly into world class cricket.

yip Deefa, that cartoon was orginaly about the SAFFA's chocking back when they lost to Australia by one run .... could not help myeslf...

lets hope the Proteas don't get their Arses kicked by the Kiwi's or I'll never live it down...

India is the form team on home ground and spin bowlers and medium pace with swing is the winning way at the moment.

What has gpt me puzzled is the low run rate compared to others on very " batting friendly" wickets by the Aussie team, kind of liek they scared to score runs in the first overs and don't want to take the game by the scrum of it's neck and shake it. Pontings knock is more of a salvation effort to save hmself from the gallows. Sorry but his first century knock in close to 40 games in the short format ain't good enough, when his average was only 24!

Some dam good young blood out there in the clubs needing polishing and a chance to shine....

Ponting should have stepped

Sat, 2011-03-26 11:05

Ponting should have stepped down after the Ashes loss, The selectors, well Hilditch, have to go.

A Big broom and some fresh new talent, to replace LoloTait, oldmanLee, and the other spuds.
