yamaha 300 fuel consumption

If anyone on here owns or has owned a Yamaha 300 fourstroke, would you mind sharing how many litres per hour it uses at max rpm and at cruising rpm?

thanks in advance

Are you talking the older 300 Yamaha or the New V6 300?

current model V6.

I would say the V6s would use a fair bit less than the V8s. i would only be guessing but id think closer to 200 L/h at max rpm for twin V6s.

Two 225s on a workboat used to drive used 186L/h

if any one has one i would love to hear from them.

Im looking at putting two on my new boat.

CJ, Ryan (owner of Oceanside) is in the shop atm and I mentioned this thread to him as he's looking at a new boat and the same motor.

His info; Talking to Yamaha guys is about .7 to .8 nm per litre based at cruise 3800-4200rpm. Max/WOT 100l per hour. Figures based on sea trial with Haines 7m 23ft & the New V6 300hp Yamaha.
