Just need somewhere to gloat and celebrate the (SA) West End Redbacks wiping the floor with Tassie tonight to a) quality for the KFC Big Bash final; and b) be the first team to qualify for the 2010 Champions League competition.
Woot!
Getting Afridi and Pollard on board has paid off this year but it's not like they've carried the team, they're complemented it quite well. Can't wait to see how they go in the final but really looking forward to see how they go in the main event later this year...

Yeah it's been a long time since Redbacks supporters have had something to celebrate. Nearly got to the Pura Cup final a couple of years ago but that's been it since about '96 I think?

yep last big celebration was the Sheffield Shield way back in '96. I remember getting home from school and it was live on TV, I reckon that was the first and last time I've seen live state cricket on a weekday.
