Also the Starlo Classix 902
Also the Starlo Classix 902 Shorespin 5-10kg (there's two different ones) with a Stradic 5000. Absolute weapon.

Nitro 4-6kg Magnum butt and
Nitro 4-6kg Magnum butt and shimano stradic ci4 4000, got a couple spools from 12lb to 20lb I'll probably start with 12lb.
Okuma 1-2kg rod and just bought a 2500 Twinpower from another member with a couple spools of 6lb and 10lb.
This next one I'm most excited to use- 9wtf fly outfit, caught a couple last season but really want to get a couple on a popper fly this year.

a similar path Beau. Perhaps not this year but if we ever get another proper 'run' along the coast again a fly rod will be part of the arsenal.

Beau,
I thought you'd have a crack with that Twinpower you robbed from me.
LOL, I just wasn't quite quick enough.

Haha can't believe I actually got it, pretty sure it had been up for over 15mins.
Absolutely immaculate reel, I've already hooked a couple 7kg shark macks on it from the ski but they spat the hooks after a short tussle, then changed the spool over and caught some whiting on poppers in the arvo.

I always use my custom built
I always use my custom built Sabre GF220 and a Penn SS 850 with 10kg line. Usually use poppers or bait cast mulies. Both rod and reel are over 20 years old now and US made, but I'd put them up against anything.
cheers

Went down to Hammlin with mine, didn't see any salmon but caught a herring and a chopper on it inbetween sitting on the dunes watching. Casts a mile and is quite responsive as you say. A good beach stick that is for sure.
