Ouch. That could be a bit tricky if the weather wasn't so good. Imagine being over in a smaller boat expecting to go the next day based on wind and swell etc, and being told you had to go pretty much straight away. Or does it not apply if you are moored etc?

A mate's father in law was
A mate's father in law was approached by the police late yesterday arvo whilst alone, moored on his yatch behind Garden Island. They told him abouty the 6pm lockdown and ordered him to sail back to the mainland. He's an older guy, and told them he was too tired to sail at night, so he was not prepared to leave. The cops told him he would be towed back if he didn't leave voluntarily. They then proceeded to call VMR to come out and tow him back.
