We used to have a good spot off samson that produced large amounts of huge estuary cod. Good fun they are. Lost the spot unfortunately when we changerd over to the new GPS.
nice fish trent.any bigger than that and ide be letting them go .bye the way ya next pics chuck em in with the pilbra pirates photos p.s
whens ya oldman gonna take me to his red spot.still havnt been on the Tomcat yet
always in it just the depth that varies
yeah, based in Tom Price with these pilbra pirates. will have to hit the old boy up for a trip i think mitch. im heading to the montes next year on a 5day charter, cant wait!!!!!
i think we are going to book around march april. we've got a crew together from tom price and its costing us $1750 each for the 5 day trip. pretty expensive but it'l be worth while
Food ? Grog ? fishing gear ? dive stuff ? $350pd sounds good for full charter with the little bits supplied even if you have to take your own grog where do they leave from do they fish on the way over or steam thru the night like the rowleys.
Sorry for the Q's but interested in organising one and a little heads up can help me with the questions when I start planning , I would like to go to the abrolhos Is first then the full monty .
The Rowleys or scott reef is a dream waiting to happen just think the abrolhos would be an easy start off point.
Also any recommendations either good or bad .

I think some of the charters fish along the western side of Barrow island on the way up, but if it's windy they usually just steam all the way through to the montes.
