Spooled this up, it took pretty much exactly 600m of Daiwa Boat Braid PE6/80lb and enough room to add a leader.

Oh I replaced the braid on that reel too. I must get something smaller and put crappier braid on it for sambo charters. Pretty sure my bro has a big spool of stren 80lb somewhere.
In this case though, I have 1200m of the braid spare, anyone want to buy some Daiwa PE6/80lb/8ply/Colour metered?

Last time I was out in the 250s using pe4 I was down to about a 100m on the spool and it was really hair raising, lucky I didn't catch anything
Otherwise I will have to tie it to a jetski!
