Dusted the tinnie out of the garage for start of summer and a bit of a day out with the boys, they were happy, both caught 3 each and two for my tally. Both got inked , didnt worry them too much....

yep 2 fed 4 of us.....
so have another good feed with the parents for this weekend. Dont know why but they out "fish" me when squidding.......always..........probably so keen to catch they pay attention more than me. Or maybe that I am always the net man...
No vest, no go for them but they are ok with wearing them ......Water Police were happy when they came over to check us out for flares , skippers ticket etc .......
Amazing how easy it is to convince them to go to bed at 7.30pm when you mention boat tomorrow.

Nice catch there. Our young fellas get squid ink all over themselves and their life jackets too. They love catching squid ink goes everywhere but it is such good fun.
