Watch out for the rod holders Sherbert, they are a trap for the old and unstable....
I just heard that last night my 76 year old mum was rushed to hospital and received 24 stitches to her shin from falling on a plastic rod holder at Port Kennedy. At least she still landed the double header of herring before calling for help.

No bowling for a couple of weeks
She's pretty tough the old girl. Only took up fishing a couple of years ago, having been sick of sitting there watching me and my dad catching fish. Ever since she has been hooked.
Sounds like she is on the mend.Thanks for all the well wishes. Didn't want to derail the thread, just heard the news as I was reading Sherb's thread.
