Bay
With that swell and a big tide you won't even get as far as the last gate to the bay

Might be 7m
but what direction? Probs from the Nth so it won't be remotely surfable.

Interesting
Will be very interesting tomorrow [Friday] when I have to run a replacement chief engineer out to a big tug anchored 6 mile out in the sea rescue boat.

7mt swell
7 mts in the bay that would be a site to see, the place certainly changes once it gets over 5 mts , going to 7 mts so quickly that will mess it up , definatley no boats launching that day

Crabs
Was up there one year when we copped the tail end of a cyclone, bay completely closed out. Waves breaking directly on the beach and flowing back in to the scrub as far back as the last gate with armies of ghost crabs running up the wheel ruts in the road.
Was a good trip because though no fishing we were there an extra week with the track out under water.
