Gday, reel is a Daiwa Freams Kix 3000, the Japanese model, and the rod is a Squidgy spin heavy (I think...actually my brother's rod, which may explain why I wasn't shy about putting a bend in it)...fish snaffled a drop-bear coloured squidgy right under the outboard leg.

It would be a daiwa caldia kix 3000.
You can also get the daiwa freams kix 3000 which is deseinged for the jap market, cheaper version with only slightly diferent specs.
