 Hey everyone,

Need a replacement surf rod and looking at picking up a penn prevail 9 or 10 ft (don't want any longer than that) and just after some opinions.. Have read on this forum that it's been great for lures at quobba/steep etc and while I may use it for that, i will be more regularly using it for throwing Mulie rigs off beaches for tailor/mulla's. 

"Max" Cast rating on 9 and 10ft seem to be 3oz and 5oz respectively and just wondering how people have found it for chucking decent Mulie/sinker rigs out and if it's done the job. If it's not really suited to it then I'll look for something else as I won't just be doing the lure thing.

 Hi guys I'm looking for a travel rod and reel that I can taken when traveling and camping one I can use for almost anything shore based in the ocean off beach rocks and jettys I was thinking about a stradic 8000fj with a penn prevail 10ft any ideas would be great it's just I have a beach rod and a flick rod for lures and when we travel some times just can't take them all and not sure what we will come across

 Go to tackle world Myaree and they have some sebile and other minnows there. Lures that are usually up to $40 each, you can now get 4 for $20.
