Cribbed from another forum, apparently this is a pic of the new 2011 Jap catalog.
Who is getting one first? Dazsamfishing perhaps?
Its again an upgrade to the Trinidad A reels, extra bearings, black spool, black handle & "exciting drag sound", whatever that is.

Jamie, I thought the NR Ocea
Jamie, I thought the NR Ocea Jigger was a reasonably recent model, so surprised they are updating it aleady....but this is the JDM market, so demand for new "jiggers" is pretty strong I guess.
The photos indicate the spool is pretty wide, much wider than my 1500....I guess they may be the larger models with wide spools, but looks less suited to jigging than the NR???

Not really sure that the
Not really sure that the NR was that recently updated myself.
I wouldn't call a reel less suited to jigging just because its wider than the NR, too narrow has its own problems as well.

new oj
OMG OMG OMG I'll put my hand up I've been holding out for a small PE 2 jigger for a while and was about to bite the bullet and get a Ryoga Bay Jigger but I might have to do a bit of investigating !!!
I like the look of the 2000 but it doesnt appear to have the black handle and I'm not to keen on this " exciting drag sound " I hope its still a silent reel and not like the JM's.
Till any more info on specs / price etc...
Cheers fishfish....
