abrohlos island reports

does any one have any reports from abrolhlos islands
am going on a 5 day charter on the 18th i know ill catch plenty of baldies
just after any reports??

yer we did pretty good

we got heaps of snapper small and monsters.
he got our fair share of dhuies again small but we got a couple of monster on of the boys got a 12. somthing kg dhuie.
couple of baldies not many tho.
2 red throat.
sharks.
tuna on the troll.
only 1 squid altho i had a chance at a big one in deep water for only some1 to throw bait at it and it took that and swam down.
i nice cuttlefish in 50+m water.
i got 16 or so slimys at ancor.
couple of decent b/a's.
few big sambos to keep u entertained.
and there was heaps of whale so take ur camera and also report wen u get bak have fun and get a feed mate.

i lost a huge fish last year there
skipper recons it was a 60kg plus tuna i want a re match

yer there is some big and powerful things up there including massive noahs.
do u know wat boat u going on?
and take a few swimming lures as last time there was massive bait balls and take a flicky for squid and also some bait chaser rigs to get gardies, herring, and slimeys for bottom bouncing and also live bait them for sharks.

Hey mate, I went last year
Hey mate, I went last year and caught plenty of baldies, some nice sharks, pinkies etc etc and managed to snap my mates big fish off just when he was going to take the rod back from me because he was too weak to bring it in by himself. Some people are just so soft.
Cant wait until the 17th, here we go again.
Oh yeah and I remember having a bet with my mate to see who would spew up first, we picked the female journo but got it really wrong, my mate was first.

i know of some people who
i know of some people who are out there right now.
Winds and swell is right up, but they are doign well around the islands. Getting plenty of dhu's and baldys (released obviuosly).
But a little slow on the pinky front.

We have booked the 18th to
We have booked the 18th to 22nd Sept The Almanac says this is mainly all black days so we will see if this actually works. Even if we dont catch a lot it will be a great time with heaps of excellent food, good company, and NO WORK, and limited phone coverage.
Cant wait !!
