hi guys im building a aluminium trailer im using i beam just want to no how the springs are mounted to the beams do they weld the spring hangers to a piece of plate or angel and bolt it up to the ali in one piece or do they weld the hanger to a smaller piece of plate and bolt them up by them selfs so each hanger is on a differant plate i guess both will work just want no whats better any pics would be great

if you are using any sort of leaf springs dont weld/bolt the hangers individually. If one comes loose you are in trouble.
Make a angle iron frame with all the hangers welded to it then u-bolt the whole assembly to the ally frame

The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
