Annual trip Pt Lincoln long over due
Hi all,
Just gettin ready for my annual 2 week fishing trip. Just realised that other than an hour of fishing with the 8yold daughter haven't been fishing since last April. Way over due to wet a line.
Heading to Pt Lincoln this year - have a nice place (more like a palace) on the marina to keep the missus happy whilst I'm out fishing (beats the normal caravan park cabin). Hoping to get a few KG's, Bluefin, snapper and maybe a kingie or two. Will probably drop the boat in at Coffin Bay as well depending on wind direction etc. Also hoping to get out to Rocky/greenly Island with a mate with a bigger boat for a troll for Bulefin and a jig for Sampsons/kingies.
Can't wait..
Will put some pics and reports of our results up when I can.
Cheers Paul

Good luck Paul
Great part of Australia for sure.
Looking forward to some reports and pictures.
Did you manage to find some more egrel rods?
Jigging for sambo's and Kingies will get real addictive

theres some good ground down there
spent 14 years in sth aus and most of those had a couple of 2 week trips to lincoln with the boat! strated going to streaky bay more towards the end, had some awesome trips at both of them!
would be good to see some picks, havent been down there in 8 +years now!
its certainly a great place to tackle the pelagics and get an easy feed of KG's!
and nothing wrong with the caravan parks - used to stay at kirtin point - every windy day go get a heap of squid - only bugger was the person who stole our auxillary tank (and every tank in the park that night)
