another bloody fire!
what is it with pr!cks that start fires! The Hills area again under massive threat and people in Jane Brook and Swan View on alert to move out!
We spotted this one this morning at 6am just before leaving for work, so the bastard was out early to start it. Living up in Swan Valley we had the bad one not too long ago, now again we have one started by some idiot with a fire-craze or just plain trying to hurt people.
With 36 deg today and a very strong NE wind, this was always going to be a bad day for fire. Time for some one with balls in state government to put up a mandatory 10 years jail for arson attacks on the public, well that’s what it is ! close to if not eco/urban terrorism on the residents of an area!
If I catch the bugger, lets just say he may end up with a whole new respect and fear of flames when I’m through with him! Stuff counseling and therapy sessions, a nice little thermal load experience will re-educate the #@!$% in no time at all!

why cant they get a better past time
like fishing. im with you tony someone stand up and make it 10 years mandatory jail time. i hope no houses get destroyed and with the cooler wetter weather coming up can get it out quickly.
i cant work it out that victorian bushfire prick got 25 years even though he killed wat 173 people not good enough he should never get out

its not good seeing these
its not good seeing these big fires that are lit by idiots. doesnt matter how big or small the fire is they can still injure or kill someone, just look at how many firefighters have been hurt or killed doing their job . a good 10 yrs behind bars and then another 10 years working as an orderly in a burns ward might just wake some of them up to how dangerous fires can be.

I'm all for that punishment FF. I think a long stint of community service in a burns unit might make them change their minds and if not, then burn the bastards alive!!! You make a good point though Tony. We need tougher penalties otherwise there is no deterant for these idiots. Low life scum - That's all they are!

last night we go lucky! the wind dropped off before the fire could jump the road across into Red Hills and was brought under control. FESA chaps worked the whole night and deserve a great big hug from all.
As for the fire-bug, he just killed off 500 hectares of the John Forrest park and caused a huge fuel and manpower bill to the state for his thrill. I hope he is caught and locked away for a long time, but hey Justice Kennedy and her fuzzy-wuzzy-felly bunch will give him a suspended sentence and some quality counseling time etc !!!!! so he can just go out and do it again!

south africaans rule of justice , im all for it but its like flogging a dead horse , nothing is going to change , because in todays world , need to be seen as doing what is politically correct , dont hear the greenies jump up and down when this happens , save the forrest save the trees , save the planet , yeah right
