the scammers are not
the scammers are not getting any smarter, people are getting dumber..i mean come on, you receive an email from the nigerian police saying that they will give you $250,000 but first you have to pay a certain amount to claim it?... not smart at all, yet people are dumb enough and dont have the commone sense and they go ahead and pay.

Yeah tell them they can
Yeah tell them they can deduct it out of the $250,000.
I still maintain on a smaller level tho if you get an email comfirming payment has been recieved for goods you are selling, most folks might just send the goods without a 2nd thought,,,

I was selling my car through
I was selling my car through online adds recently. I recieved about 8 or 9 offers a day which insisted on payment through PayPal. Some of which offered way more than I was asking for the car.
The finniest one was a guy claiming to be deaf so he couldnt call me and working on a ship so he couldnt pay any other way. He didnt explain why he needed a car so quickly while working on a ship.
I had always thought payment through PayPal was a safe option but after getting so many of these emails offering to buy the car without even looking at it i realised something was a bit suss.

I just don't open
any emails I don't know, if they go straight to my junk mail, delete delete. Don't buy anything on the internet, can't anyway don't have a credit card or paypal. Just don't trust the internet to buy anything. I've worked to hard for some scammer to skim me.
Read where one of the scammers that hit the ATM's was actually a asylum seeker that had been given residency, go figure and they were screened before allowing in, unbelieveable.
