Another unhappy customer from BCF

Long story short...had a $50 gift card to spend from BCF and being in Esperance went to buy something online....went for a Daiwa hoodie for $45..checked out and freight was $27!!!! WTF!! Sent them a please explain email saying please review your freight charges and basically I won't be shopping with you again online or in store (BCF Member for when I do rarely go to Perth)
Reply email said too bad actually freight was $28 and they were actually losing money freighting it to me!!!

Pretty sure i could get that shipped to esperance for about $10.00

I swear they bump their quotes for postage up and pocket whatever remains from the actual cost.

I used to pay $11 to send an epirb back to a hire company in qld.... I suspect an epirb weighs more than a hoodie

reminds me of when I was given a $20 gift card to a small tackle store by the in-laws.

Appreciated the intended thought but I walked around for more than a hour just trying to spend the dam thing. Couldn't even find a half decent lure (and I was prepared to add a few bucks if needed) or any half decent terminal bits I would trust. Can't recall what I bought.

When I can't spend money in a tackle store they have stock issues. :-)

yeah thats not right haha. $10 would cover it in most cases. When i worked at a local perth store, we would charge $10 australia WIDE for standard EXPRESS postage through Toll priority. I do beleive it has been bumped to $15 now as toll have risen their prices.
