I caught heaps of them in the summer of 2007/2008

friends went there last weekend in the morning but not a touch.

I've fished at Golden ponds
I've fished at Golden ponds a few times and only caught a few trout at that small pond behind the shop there..
If you dont mind me asking, which ponds have you guys had luck at?? Will the barra there have a crack at lures? If so which lures?

Yeah theyre firing on pellets
Because me and mum went there on friday and got 6 between us. mum was using pellets and a float and i was using halco scorpion 35 in pink and yellow but only caught 1, then ended up fishing a tiny float with pellets and got 3 more. haha mum was amazed that they jump when theyre hooked. i got there after the hottest part of the day though at 3 and fished till close.

they arent the strictest
they arent the strictest place, 10 bucks a head entry, 10 bucks a kilo if ya wanna keep the fish you catch. The pond behind the kiosk has barra and trout and the other big ones have black bream and silver perch.
