Anyone knows good place for fishing in Swan river?

hey everyone
i live in Meville does anyone know aany fishing spots in swan river near there?
coz my mom wont take me fishing to woodys alltime she says itis too far :(

gday buddy, the lower swan
gday buddy,
the lower swan atm is firing..tailor, herring, tarwhine and a few mulloway about in the depths..
most of the jettys in the arvos produce these fish..dont really know the melville area really well so can't comment.
i know the 2008 Swanfish comp is coming up in the last weekend of Feb. thats run by the Melville angling club and thats always good fun with a few good prizes

You can pick up flathead and
You can pick up flathead and bream along the stretch from attadale up towards point walter.
Tailor, herring, flathead are pretty common off point walter, and blackwall reach you have a chance at mulloway, flathead, bream.

Out the back of Sandalford , but you either have to know an employee on use a boat.
Luckily for me my Daughter works there and lets me in the electronically locked gates

have you had any luck over the other side of the river from sandalford, by looking at google earth i think the general public can get in there.
