I really really want one for the canning river, the crabs under rocks are a good bait so the lures should be alright

 They are the ducks nuts

They are the ducks nuts around heavy structure in the lower reaches, but not worth the coin simply for the fact that a monster will either only hit it if its on its way back into or right in the structure. Or he'll crush hooks on ya. Better bet is to go and find the real things on a low tide, soo much cheaper and more fun too, just leave the females with eggs where they are.

But you will get bigger fish on the crabs, and it is much more rewarding.

Pfffft you would die if you

Tue, 2015-03-17 18:41

Pfffft you would die if you knew how many kms I've done to get to a fishing spot only to come back empty handed haha... to put it into perspective for you, I just had my 12 month service done on my boat... 112.3 hours in 12 months! In that time Ive got maybe 3 or 4 posts on here where I've done well... That's a lot of hours in the boat, not to mention car! Another words don't give up and keep trying! Stop sounding glum because you've caught no fish, suck it up & try again... Eventually you will find what works, then maybe you could have 3 or 4 posts like me lol... Guys make it look easy catching fish on here but they have done a shit load of hours on the water or land. A lot of good information on here along with a bucket load of top blokes willing to help... Keep at it and if u have to drive an hour down the road so be it :)
