Submitted by tailor marc on Mon, 2011-04-25 18:11
Well i went out to my usual big blackie location armed with a block of mulies. Couldnt belive my eyes when i could see monster bream swiming around. Hardest part was getting through the millions of blowies. Finally i hookd this big guy. Was around the same size as my biggest i caught a few yrs back that went 48cm. This may have been bigger? . What a thumper!!!!
Still hanging to crack 50cm!!!! Wont be long i hope.
Felt great to get a coupe shots and let it go. Swam off really well.

Cheers guys. I think it was anzac day Kama coming back to me for finding the ww2 guys bracelett. Whata great day.
Couple people that seen me landed it were shocked to see me let it go. I explained to them how old this fish would be and catch and release is the way to go. Photo of a fish will last forever. Fish on a dinner plate will last a day

solid BB
HAHAHA no that is a solid BB. Havent got close to that mark for a few years!! Yes the bream gear has head north. I blame Twitchy for telling me to go lighter and lighter.
Top fish anyway. would be stoked to land that. Their seem to be more and more of these popping up in metro water. well done!!
