Bait Boards- Locally Manufactured, sold at Allboats
Submitted by Subaquatic on Thu, 2013-05-23 19:41
I purched a Baitboard a few months ago at Allboats. Its a stainless frame with two rodholders and a slide out tray underneath. When I purchased it, the guys at allboats said it was made locally. (I will try and post a photo soon)
Problem is that I lost the tray a few weeks ago on the way to the ramp.
I have been back to Allboats, and they have no idea who they got them from, or how I would source a new replacement.(???) They pretty much said Im S.O.L. and that the last one was sold a few days ago.
Im hoping someone may know who built them, or knows where the trays came from. Its a shame to have to replace it just because I cant get another tray!
Any input appreciated.
Regards

I couldn't tell you mate, I'm being sarcasstic. But knowing where it came from it wouldn't suprise me at all. Once again a very average response from someone in the retail game.

" no idea who they got them from " that is seriously piss poor ... I imagine it was quite exy as well , hope you get it sorted in time .

In all fairness, should I
In all fairness, should I really have to hunt around a store to find someone to give a shit about my problems?
I stood at the counter with 4-5 people within earshot, and clearly explained my situation. Had there been anyone who had a solution, Im sure (hope) they would have piped up.

Just that white box
Just that white box underneath that slides in. Its just a plain old plastic tub, but for it to work properly, the dimensions are critical, and I cant find anything that works.

Measure up and go to Ikea.
Measure up and go to Ikea. Up stairs by the canteen is the kids section, they have a pine frame cabinet with slots in the side to slide in plastic bins that look just like that.
