Barra fishing Darwin

Looking for some advice if anyone can help. Currently driving Broome to Darwin arriving next week and looking to book a fishing day or even a two dayer if it's worth it. Any recommendations or seeing a bit of wet has started up there, should I just hire a boat for a few days and run up the Mary River adn didge crocs?

Mate, in all honesty, if you have fairly limited top end experience I reckon a day with a guide is worth Gold. Yes.... it costs a quid, but you get a ton of knowledge out of it, and that lasts forever.

Yeah dodgy lived in Darwin... grew up in the NT, folks run a motel at Borroloola. Mates went shoal bay on Wednesday anf got 98,95,87,76,65 and 54 cm. October is the month.. the big breeders come to the mouth of the creeks before the runoff where they go up the creeks with the floodwater. Good clarity too. Good time of year for trolling on neap tides.

Yeah. Used to be my favourite time of year too. Loved the area between mouth of the south and pococks. Build up Barra are the best.

Not the same slayer that used to work at the biodiesel plant?
