bass from the weekend

hey all
thought i might just post this up, this is a 35kg+ bass grouper i got on sunday, the fight was awsome i almost thought i was going to loose him for a few minutes. went to west end first off and caught a few salmon then went out deep and got into a few fish out wide, great weather
p.s thanks for the tip with the sounder ryan, i can see the bottom heaps better now

What a gut! Looks like my Goldfish LOL. They just keep taking it in and swimming around bloated.
That's a fantastic Fish Luke. I'm not sure how we would cope with the volume of flesh without giving a lot away.
Next time I catch a Herring I must try the angle shot LOL.

well done mate! just about anything would have outdone me and steves outing today! he did get a 8-10kg amber which was fish of the day. fads werent firing, fish on derwent but not interested in jigs and trolled up a couple of blue bottles. oh and dont bite line off after youve trolled a bluebottle......rookie mistake
