There is some good reef/beach fishing north and south. You also should be able to launch your boat from the beach in the lagoon.

Basically head up towards Kalbarri, Approx 40kms south of Kalbarri, Turn left at the war memorial looking thing onto the gravel, go ~1km then turn right onto sandy track to run along the fenceline for about 20 mins. Which brings you out into the dunes.  Many people let the tyres down on the gravel as the dunes are quite soft.  The track going in is often overgrown and can scratch/snap off boat/Car bits.

Head straight towards the coast will bring you to the lagoon.  On the southern end there is a sand spit which is firm and good for boat launching.  In the lagoon are moorings which will hold a cray boat as they bring them down to there for bad weather.  In the lagoon/on the reefwall = Tailor, outside troll for Mackeral or bottom fish for whatever if you are outside of the demersal ban.  But Kalbarri is the northern end of the West coast bio region so if between now and Dec 15th do the right thing.

We were planning to go from Nov 7th-15th but instead will head south walpole for inlet fishing and to bottom fish outside if we get good weather
