Best Time to Fish Steep Pint

Hey just wondering if around the end of september/october if that is a good time of year to go fishing at steep point? I have a few mates coming over from victoria around then and just need to firstly organise where we are going to go for a week or so

No doubt you will get some
No doubt you will get some good days around end of September start October although its not the ideal time to go... If by any chance you could go at the start of September you will increase your chances by ten folds of getting much better weather...
I take my boat up there every year around the 28th august for 7 days...
I have never landbased fished Steep Point though only by boat...

Roughly around the same time as Quobba, March through to July when the southerlies have pissed off.

We are leaving Saturday 28th jan
Last year the group of us got 30 mackie in 4 days, And had to stop fishing cos we were on our limit for the trip
