Big goatfish and ok size KG...

1 day out at rotto got this goatfish never seen 1 this size ...and good feed of KG...
eany1 ells seen a goatfish 1 this size ?

yep
not in metro but up north on a charter one of the deckies pulled up a monster goarfish on a soft plastic, would have gone about 50-60cm i rekon, btw thats a great KG.

yeh i would never had thought they got to that size i fillet fish at ( REDFIN FRESH SEAFOOD ) in vic park and we get goat fish never ever that size bigest i might have seen around 20cm but the 1 i got was a thumper and had me shocked.... cheerz buddy

got 1 off two rocks
got a cracker one off two rocks last month, found it quite amusing as we only got ones about 10 cms long usually. must have been at least 35 cms weighed over a kilo. mate said it tasted pretty good, like a norwest snapper. that day we got a 80cm plus dhuie but that goat fish was the throphy.
