Well i went to northmole last night. Got there around 5.15pm and fished into the rous head marina and wasnt doing to well . Loads of mossies.
10 min into fishing i watched a BIG Boarfish around 3-4 kg swim back and fwd along the rocks for around an hour. Tried mulies, prawn but no luck. Anyone caught one on a rod and reel before?

Not personally
but I have seen a vid of one caught on rod and reel, an uncommon experience I understand. It was hooked in the mouth so it wasn't Till. I've never tasted one but they are very highly regarded by the spearos.
Here is the link, it's quite funny.

on what you guys are discussing but those Boaryz are unbelievable on the chew.
They don't bite hooks unfortunatly.
Took a coupla mates diving to a spot where there's heaps of them and they snared 2 of them.
