Boat Covers

Just wondering the best way to measure a boat for a cover, also is there different covers for cabin cruisers with a windscreen on top?

Also are they cheaper to buy from the USA, and what would be the best website for this?

in the same boat mate mines full of leaves and is making stains on the fibreglass.

Some covers are standard that you can get from bcf for tinnies and small runabouts. Like 3.5-4m etc.

I assume you need something custom?

Yep, they're doing the work on my tub, top work and nice blokes.

Got it back the other day with the top on.

Clears, rear bib and storm covers to follow ........

I got an Oceansouth cover for when it's stored - nice quality, but unless it's custom it's never really going to fit right.

Also got the Oceansouth Outboard cover - and you can see how poorly that fits.

My Suzi cover fits like a glove.

Got one for a 4.85 trailcraft runnabout, very happy with the cover, tow the bot with it no problems. I did post some pics up some time ago of it and the GK web site has pictures of many of there covers. Custom made to fit like a glove. It did cost $1300 but as my boat is outside it is well worth it.

I got my cover from ebay. I have a 6m boat, so this cover would fit similar to yours, or go to the next size up.

I have had it for over year now and it seems to be quite good.
